She will gaduate from North Carolina Central University's on Saturday, May 14 at 8 a.m. The graduation will be held at North Carolina Central University's O'Kelly Riddick Stadium located at 1801 Fayetteville St, Durham NC 27701. Ingredients
32 oz Wild Salmon Filets
1/4 tsp Lemon Pepper
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1/3 cup Soy Sauce (Bragg’s Amino Acids has less sodium—same great taste though)
1/3 cup Light Brown Sugar
1/3 cup Water
1/4 cup Vegetable Oil, Canola (I would use either olive oil or sesame oil)
1 tsp Liquid Smoke (Clean of course—check your ingredients)

I found this list of Healthy Tips while surfing the net. I found these things very fundamental yet powerful. Hope that you all enjoy it. (I have modified some words to fit our culture!)
Health:

Drink plenty of water.
Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a beggar.
Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured in plants.
Live with the 3 E’s — Energy, Enthusiasm, and Empathy.
Make time for prayer and reflection.
Play more games.
Read more books.
Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day.
Sleep for 7 hours.
Take a 10-30 minutes walk every day. And while you walk, smile.

Homemade Chicken Soup

Let’s chase away those winter blues with some good ole homemade chicken soup. Chicken soup is the ultimate comfort food. It is warm, filling and nutritious. This recipe is great for single people as well as families. Anyone on a budget could benefit from this recipe….ENJOY!
Ingredients:

· 3-4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces (about 1 ½ pounds)
· 1 small onion (chopped)
· 1 cup chopped celery
· 2 medium-sized potatoes (diced)
· Water
· 1-12oz. frozen mixed vegetables (string beans, peas, carrots, and corn)
· 1 Box Lipton Noodle Soup with chicken broth
· 1-8oz. can Tomato Sauce
· Black Pepper (to taste)
· 1 Tablespoon Parsley Flakes

Directions:
Place chicken in a large soup pot, and fill with water. Bring to a boil on medium to high heat. Spoon out excess “stuff” from chicken. Then add mixed vegetables, celery, potatoes, and onions to soup pot with chicken. Cook on low to medium heat for about 15-20 minutes, stirring frequently. On low heat add Lipton Noodle Soup (both pouches), tomato sauce, and black pepper. You might need to add 1-2 cups of water due to the added noodle mixture. Simmer for an additional 5-10 minutes or until noodles are tender. Last but not least stir in parsley flakes for a great soup taste.

P.S. Feel free to substitute different parts of the chicken based on preference. If you decide to use a different part of the chicken, be mindful to cook the poultry longer before adding remaining ingredients. Bon Appétit!

Sinaiticism: Our Beautiful Culture

One might say, what exactly is sinaiticism? Sinaiticism is a culture that is used to describe a way of life that is predicated upon the laws that were given to the prophet Moses at Mount Sinai. It is a value system that involves the teachings and principles that governed biblical Yisraelites. The practice of sinaiticism was commanded by Yah and communicated to Moses for the children of Yisrael. It is the doctrine of the bible.

Our culture is beautiful because of its nature and its source. Its nature is unadulterated, unblemished, and wholesome. Its source is the Creator of the heavens and the earth – Elohim. The torah was given to us for instructional purposes. It provides significance and direction as it relates to our purpose in life. Our purpose in life is to serve The Most High and learn about His plan of salvation.

We should all feel honored and blessed to have such a culture that stands alone and is independent of any other spiritual or religious bodies. Make no mistake about it; sinaiticism has nothing to do with religion. However, it has everything to do with the culture of our forefathers: Abraham, Isaac, and Yacob.

Let us continue to gleam and take pride in this culture as it was graciously given to us by Elohim. Taking sincere delight in sinaiticism could only be pleasing to Elohim. And at the end of the day, we should only want what is most pleasing to The Most High.
