Daughters of Virtue (D.O.V.) was created in order to enhance who we are as women; as mothers, as sisters, as wives and as daughters. In conjunction, this blog was established as a communication stream to bridge the road between the local and remote sisters of NCCI Charlotte. This communciation stream will be edifing, encouraging and enlightening. May the blessings of Yah be with you all.
This class, the Relational Line, was a truly edifying class for me, and I just want to thank sister Amaziyah and Elder Arieyah for the presentation. It elevated my understanding of relationships on a theocratic level; and even though I was married when I came into the Covenant, it took this class, as well as others that you have held in DOV as well as in Shabbat class, to fully understand what Yah expects of me as a wife. Still, having full knowledge of what Yah expects of women who become engaged or married can allow us sisters to evaluate ourselves and our relationships before getting to these levels. So, thank you so much for this class, and the details that were brought out. As the mother of a young daughter, (who is 6), my concern regarding dating is the sexual aspect of dating...in this culture dating and sex are entertwined. Girls in antiquity were proud of their virginity, and this is something that we also need to show our daughters as well. How do we traverse the whole aspect of sex and dating in this Western culture with our young daughters when having sex with one's boyfriend is something that is expected?
ReplyDeleteExcellent class! Thanks to Elder Arieyah. All praise, honor and glory to the Almighty Father Yah.
